Happy Halloween....

'Helloween' or 'Halloween'....I'm blessed if I know. Sorry, but I don't care a fig for this event.... BUT: drawing something halloween-ish is quite okay ;)

One sketch a day... The daily, often quick sketch works for me.... however the plan of posting weekly suffers..... So this time I offer a whole amount of sketches of the past weeks. To be honest: I absolutely do not always feel like sketching and from time to time I have to get up all my energy to put something on paper. BUT: as the year draws to a close, I have to say that I am so very proud to notice that the New Year's Resolution still works.... (in fact, I already have got an idea for next year....!). Well, and even without feeling like drawing: a single line sometimes makes up all the half-hearted work and can be even more significant than a ten-minutes-sketch... have a look at sketch 265, my husband sitting in front of his pc... :D

Kalender 2016 - Calendar 2016

The new calendars arrived! For reasons of health, the annual exhibition of Kunstforum Gellersen will take place next year, the motto will be "Water".

... simply for the sake of good order, here are the origin of the photo references, from top left to bottom right: Will Kemp, Anja, morguefile, Anja, morguefile, Anja, Anja, Anja, morguefile*

*by the way: I do not know, if it is necessary at all to name morguefile.com in ebay-offers (for the sake of good order I am going to do it from now on) I thought of it just today. As always, I do it to the best of my knowledge and belief. Also with previous paintings/drawings and reference material from wetcanvas.com/morguefile.com.

I named morguefile.com here on my website, under the water paintings.

To avoid lack of clarities or in case of any questions: please let me know! That's all I can do for now - Anja, October 29th, 2016

Though there are plenty of wonderful sights for sketching in Andalusia, I decided to make photos instead. But these photos now offer a great range of ideas for further paintings or sketches. I am going to publish these works within the next weeks: a wonderful memory of a great week in Southern Spain!
